1 in 100/6000 Dementia Conference - Sheffield 2023
After the huge success of our 1 in 100/6000 Conferences in 2021 and 2022 in Scotland, we are excited to announce the first of these conferences in England. In Association with Sheffield City Council the conference will take place in Victoria Hall, Sheffield on 20th and 21st March 2023.
These conferences are run by people living with dementia for people living with dementia. People who wish to attend who do not live with dementia can attend as an observer.

The theme of the conference is the Unconscious Bias of Dementia. The conference will comprise of 3 main sessions, each session will be followed by roundtable discussions with a note taker at each table. These notes will form the basis of a report that will be presented to UK governments, WHO departments and UN Committee.
The conference is taking place in Victoria Hall which has a quiet room, a drop-off at the entrance, a nearby multi-story car park and regular buses, trams, taxi and 15 minute walk from to train station.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the conference.
Limited Accommodation is also available close to the conference.

There is no registration fee for a person living with dementia or another cognitive disability, plus one supporter.

The conference registration fee enables people living with dementia to attend for free.
Two-Day Rate - £225 (non-refundable)
One-Day Rate - £125 (non-refundable)
The conference is a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) event - certificates of attendance can be provided.
